In addition to influencing decisions on laws, policies, and administration, female leaders in Canada serve as mentors and role models for young women:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>67% of women say they learned the most important lessons about leadership from other women.<\/li>\n<li>82% of working professionals believe that the opportunity to interact with female leaders and the ability to network will help advance their careers.<\/li>\n<li>86% of women say that seeing an increased number of women in leadership positions leads them to believe that they too can access it.<\/li>\n<li>91% of working women say that they consider it important to be a role model for their younger colleagues in the workplace. *<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>*KPMG Women\u2019s Leadership Study\u2014Moving Women Forward into Leadership Roles, 2017<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>The primary goal of this new program is to build capacity for women in leadership roles by empowering and inspiring women with the tools, resources, and networks needed to propel themselves towards their personal and professional ambitions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our motto remains the same: to train leaders, it takes leaders. We believe that the optimal environment for the integration of new skills, abilities, and behaviours happens when learning is done through a variety of methods and perspectives. For this reason, practical training, conferences, discussion panels, and networking are central to delivery of this program.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>WHY OFFER THIS PROGRAM TO THE WOMEN IN YOUR ORGANISATION?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Whether it is to thank them, congratulate them, and put them forward or to help them progress in their professional development within your organisation, both employees and employers will reap great benefits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High-performing companies tend to have a high number of women in leadership positions: 37% of leaders in high-performing companies are women, compared to 19% of leaders in low-performing companies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>HOW WILL THIS PROGRAM HELP WOMEN EXCEED THEMSELVES AND OPTIMIZE THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Following a working committee put in place by the Leadership Institute, gathering a dozen women leaders from different backgrounds, several current issues were selected to promote the development of female leadership under three main themes: leadership, balance, and communications:<\/p>\n<h4><a name=\"_Toc331760061\"><\/a><strong>Module: <\/strong>Inspiring a culture of courage, activating emotional courage<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The willingness to feel and use emotions as a powerful lever for team mobilization<\/li>\n<li>Exploring the keys to emotional courage<\/li>\n<li>Be a present and conscious leader<\/li>\n<li>Demystifying emotions in the professional context and the desire to make a unique mark.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Module:<\/strong> <strong>Seizing opportunities, a mindset to tame<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Discover our leadership style and define its advantages and limitations.<\/li>\n<li>Identify the contextual and individual factors from which they need to adjust their leadership style<\/li>\n<li>Deploy the most effective influence tactics to counter resistance, sell ideas and maintain harmonious relationships.<\/li>\n<li>The four fundamental leadership styles<\/li>\n<li>How to recognize which leadership style to adopt with your interlocutor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Module: Putting your natural negotiating skills into practice<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>How to foster a win-win approach<\/li>\n<li>The importance of preparation and understanding the other party<\/li>\n<li>Active listening<\/li>\n<li>Non-verbal language<\/li>\n<li>Control your emotions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Module: Propel yourself with the power of words<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Increase your credibility and confidence through the power of words<\/li>\n<li>Measure your credibility for more impact<\/li>\n<li>Develop your credibility with the 10 keys to success<\/li>\n<li>Stand out from the crowd and increase your chances of making a good impression<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 class=\"p1\"><strong>Module: Be the leader I am<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\">Identify and understand our greatest strengths to maximize the impact of our leadership<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Discover the 4 needs to inspire and mobilize our employees<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Know and adopt the essential behaviors of a manager-coach<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Use the 12 pillars of employee engagement to develop an action plan to support our leadership development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In addition to these topics covered in training, there will be discussions, panels, and conferences:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reflection on female leadership<\/li>\n<li>Female solidarity and network creation<\/li>\n<li>Taming political sense and influence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><a name=\"_Toc331760061\"><\/a><span class=\"TextRun SCXW266234417 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-CA\" xml:lang=\"EN-CA\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW266234417 BCX0\">FEES, DATES AND REGISTRATION<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW266234417 BCX0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW266234417 BCX0\" data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"TextRun SCXW212383425 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-CA\" xml:lang=\"EN-CA\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW212383425 BCX0\">Below are the dates of the next cohorts for the Women Leaders Program.
